LionHeart has moved!
LionHeart has moved to its own new office space in central Birmingham.
It is only the third time in the charity's history that we have relocated - moving first in the 1990s from our original home in London to sub-let self-contained office space from the RICS in Coventry. In 2018, when RICS moved its Coventry operation to Birmingham, LionHeart again sub-let its own space at the new Colmore Row base.
Now, with post-pandemic changes to Colmore Row as well as changes to the way the LionHeart team has been using the office base, we have relocated to nearby Cornwall Street, Birmingham.
CEO Davina Goodchild said: "Like many organisations, we have taken the chance to re-assess what we need from an office base following a long period of remote working due to the Covid pandemic. We always practised flexible working but in the last couple of years we have grown as a staff team and the way we work together has changed, so we have had opportunity to really step back and think about what LionHeart needs going forward.
"I'm really excited that we now have our own space which has been fitted out completely with our needs in mind and can truly reflect who we are and how we work together.
"There has been no disruption to our service during the move and no change to the way RICS professionals access our helpline and support. We very much look forward to this new chapter in LionHeart's long history and using our new home to continue growing the ways in which we support the worldwide surveying community."
Davina also thanked LionHeart ambassador Jen Hobart MRICS and her firm Hollis, which offered free support during the office fit-out process, even donating some furniture for our new collaboration space.
