So Sum, who recently gave a speech at the EG Future Leaders summit in which she described having been previously supported by LionHeart and the difference it made, said: "'I'm so honoured to be shortlisted for the 2023 Matrics Surveyor Award, Ambassador of the Year - it's something I never thought I would be able to achieve!
"Thanks to LionHeart for encouraging me and all the opportunities given to me - I'm glad to see LionHeart's contribution has been recognised and my fellow board members Philippa and Grace have been shortlisted as well. I'm looking forward to celebrating this special occasion with them and other inspirational leaders in the industry."
A number of LionHeart ambassadors and supporters also feature in the shortlist for the ceremony, where an overall 'winner' will also be announced.
LionHeart's head of operations Juliet Smithson said: "These awards are always a special occasion and really showcase some of the amazing individuals and advocates for the surveying profession. It is a real achievement to make a shortlist like this and it's fantastic to see many of LionHeart's friends including trustees, ambassadors and fundraisers on there.
